MARANGU WATER FALLS

It will take 3 hour’s private drive from Arusha town to Kilimanjaro National Park, Marangu gate.  At the gate you will have time to move around for sight-seeing, taking photos and read different articles about Mount Kilimanjaro. After a while you will drive back to KINUKAMORI Waterfalls.

Kinukamori waterfall is not a big waterfalls but it carries the history of decades about a girl who was forced away from her home just because she got pregnant before marriage. The girl was named MAKINUKA. By that time the waterfalls area was surrounded by thick forest, so while hiding in the forest, Leopard appeared to attack her, she starts running and crying helpless, finally she felt down from the top of the waterfalls and died there while attempting to escape from Leopard.

It’s from that history that the waterfall was honored in her name, with her monuments on the top of the waterfalls. After visiting the waterfalls, later afternoon you will be driving back to Arusha town.
