PRISON ISLAND TOUR
Overview
The Changuu located western side of Zanzibar island, formerly owned by Arabs. The jail built in 1893 and hence the name prison island still stand.
Now the island is home of Giant Aladabra Tortoises originally from Seychelles island. The age of these tortoises is over 10years, it is also possible to see a rare species of Zanzibar’s small antelope. It is fringed with a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkeling, diving, swimming and water sports also has a lovely white sand beach.
