The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland. The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. You can expect to watch elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, lot of hippos, crocodiles and often even leopards and prides of lion. There are also about 350 species of bird life to be discovered. Lunch will be taken as a packed lunch at one of the picturesque picnic sites around the park.
Selous Game Reserve is a spectacular game viewing and has superb African vistas. Located in southern Tanzania, a trip to this park allows you to learn in-depth knowledge about complex ecosystems and diverse creatures that are usually skimmed over in more crowded areas.

Day 1
Day Tour to Selous Game Reserve
Pickup from the hotel about 5:30-6:00 am depends on the location of the hotel. Flight to Selous at 8:00 am arrive at 9:00 am pickup by our driver guide directly to a game drive to explore all the animals available in Selous NP. Lunch box and soft drinks with minerals shall be provided during the trip. In the evening about 15:30 arrival at airstrip ready to catch your flight back to Zanzibar at 16:00 arrive to Zanzibar at 17:00 or 17:30 depends on the time you depart from Selous- Transport from an back to the hotel
